AI-Based SIEM

A vendor label for a SIEM that uses AI in a core function such as detection, correlation, prioritization, or investigation.

Also known as: AI Based SIEM

A vendor label for a SIEM that uses AI in a core function such as detection, correlation, prioritization, or investigation.

AI-based SIEM generally describes a SIEM that uses artificial intelligence in a central security function. Vendors may apply the phrase to machine-learning detection, behavioral correlation, alert prioritization, or investigation assistance.

There is no shared standard that separates AI-based SIEM from AI-powered SIEM. Treat the phrase as a reason to ask for a complete demonstration, not as proof of a distinct product architecture.

Ask the vendor to show the inputs, output, supporting evidence, and failure handling for the AI-based capability it claims.
