- This is SAS storage. An NVMe FlashCore Module is not a replacement for its SAS drive.
- The 720 TB raw SSD figure is a catalog maximum, before RAID and spare capacity.
Power and enclosure
The source specifies a 2U 19-inch enclosure with 100 to 240 V AC or -48 V DC power supplies. Order power parts for the installed supply type.
FlashSystem 5010 software and IBM i attachment
We check the installed IBM Storage Virtualize or Spectrum Virtualize level against the proposed drives and adapters. Features such as replication, encryption and snapshots depend on the model, software level and entitlements.
For IBM i, send the Power model, IBM i release and host adapter details. We check direct or switched attachment and the supported protocol in the IBM System Storage Interoperation Center before finalizing the configuration.
